Dharma Talks, two channel video sculpture (2009)
Materials: glass slumps, light-weight medium density fiberboard, 2 projectors, 2 speakers, computer
An infinite loop of questions and answers between two glowing orbs representing Dharma and his son. The dialogue is taken from the BBC version of the Mahabharata--the voice of Dharma is Peter Brooks and the voice of his son is replaced with my own. The animation is hand scratched 16mm film, digitally layered so the red, green and blue wavelengths form white light.
